    GUIDELINES FOR PIPELINE DISINFECTION AND DESCALING

  • Calculate the quantity of water required to fill from overhead tank outlet to the end point of pipelines
  • Empty the over head tank and drain the pipeline completely Close the outlet of overhead tank & end caps of pipeline properly Fill the required quantity of water as calculated above,
  • in the overhead water tank, plus 10% extra
  • Add MULTIACT-PLUS @ 25m1 / ltr of water (if descaling regularly) or 50 ml / Itr of water in the overhead tank
  • Open overhead water tank outlet only
  • Ensure medicated water is allowed to flow through till pipeline end point
  • Allow contact time of 3 hours for this medicated water
  • Fill overhead tank with sanitized water
  • Open end caps and ensure the pipeline is flushed out with normal sanitized water from overhead tank
  • Continue flushing for 2-3 minutes
  • The pipeline is now disinfected / descaled / sanitized for use. Continue with your regular water treatment schedule Preferably, carry this out at night in the absence of light
